The BCAAR Government Affairs Committee has received feedback from members who currently serve as landlords and/or property managers within the City of Battle Creek regarding challenges with City Code Compliance.

To better understand these experiences, the Government Affairs Committee is hosting a roundtable discussion for BCAAR members ONLY who are landlords and/or property managers operating within the City of Battle Creek.

Date: Wednesday, January 21
Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

The purpose of this meeting is to gather firsthand input directly from our members. The information collected will be used to identify common themes, clarify key issues, and develop an action plan that allows BCAAR to collaborate with the City of Battle Creek on potential improvements and solutions.

Participants are encouraged to come prepared with a list of concerns and specific examples related to Code Compliance. Members are strongly encouraged to email their list of concerns and examples to staff@bcaar.com in advance of the meeting. Members who are unable to attend are also encouraged to submit their input via email so their feedback can still be included in this discussion.
